Cajal Advanced Neuroscience Training Program

The Bordeaux School of Neuroscience organizes four three-week courses each year under the guidance of international teaching teams. This program represents commitment by the five partner institutions FENS, IBRO, the Gatsby Charitable Foundation, University of Bordeaux and the Champalimaud Foundation to establish a dedicated neuroscience training facility in Europe. The courses combine lectures by renowned scientists with methodological training sessions, by guiding the students through hands-on experiments within the frame of short scientific projects.

Workshops

In 2017 and 2018, the School hosted a workshop on “Advanced Methods for Preclinical Alzheimer Disease Research” organized by the European Training Network (ETN) Synaptic Dysfunction in Alzheimer Disease (SyDAD).

Recently, the School has also taken part in the development of the new “Graduate Program in Neuroscience” of the university of Bordeaux, by organizing training programs for Master and PhD students in neuroscience or other disciplines, interested by the brain.
